Ahead of her visit to Cannes, Hina Khan looks all ‘brilliant and sassy’ as she attends the UK’s Asian Film Festival

Popular actor Hina Khan is set to grace the Cannes Film Festival for the second time. Before heading to the prestigious event, Hina attended the UK Asian Film Festival, where she was awarded for her film, Lines. Wearing an off-white Tarun Tahiliani gown, the actor turned heads.
Sharing some photos from the streets of London, Hina Khan posted on Instagram, “Throwing some glitter and sass on the streets of London! Closing ceremony #UKAFF2022.
Her friends in the industry couldn’t hold back their excitement as they responded to the post. While good friend Priyank Sharma shared some white heart emojis, Arti Singh wrote, “Uffffffffff🔥❤️..” Fans praised her look and called her beautiful. Wearing a corset-style off-the-shoulder sheer dress, Hina paired it with a white jacket with embellished sleeves. Keeping his makeup natural, the actor had his hair tied in a bun. Hina completed her look with contrasting emerald pendants, giving her an ethereal look.

According to her team, Hina received ‘The Trail Blazer’ at the Tongues on Fire Flame Award 2022 for Lines, during the closing ceremony of the UK Asian Film Festival. The actor will now take to the skies to walk the Cannes Film Festival red carpet later this week.
Before flying to London for the awards, Hina Khan had posted a long note on Instagram. Stating that she has been called a “dreamer” and a “clairvoyant”, she wrote that dreams are all she has and will use to fuel her journey. “Perseverance, passion and power are virtues that serve as a guide. A small-town girl with dreams that reach the sky, I’ve certainly been called a dreamer or at times a clairvoyant. But the dreams are all I have and I will use them to fuel my journey as far and as long as I humanly can. Thank you @ukasianfilmfestival for acknowledging this humble journey of a girl who truly believes women should try twice as hard everywhere and never pass up the opportunity to uplift other women. Getting recognition from peers halfway around the world for a hard-earned, heartfelt film is cherished for life. Lots of love and appreciation, thank you for inviting me and officially selecting our film #Lines and premiering it at the festival. See you soon at the UK Asian Film Festival.
