What is Wicked about?
When Dorothy triumphed over the Wicked Witch of the West, we only heard one side of the story.
WICKED is based on the 1995 novel by Gregory Maguire – Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West. It takes a fresh look at the Land of Oz and creates a parallel journey to L. Frank Baum’s familiar The Wonderful Wizard of Oz.
Friendship is at the heart of WICKED, in this highly unlikely case. The very popular blonde Glinda and a misunderstood green girl, Elphaba. They first meet at school and after a rough start they form a strong friendship. Their journey takes a turn on a visit to Oz to meet the wizard where during this encounter their lives take very different paths. Glinda is drawn into a powerful and public role as Elphaba remains determined to be true to herself and the people in her life no matter what the cost – both ways seeing them fulfill their destiny as Glinda the good and bad witch of the west.
Wicked is on sale now for performances until 22 May 2022. Tickets start from £ 25.25 for performances Monday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday and Saturday at 2:30 p.m.

No one mourns the wicked
Dear old Shiz
The magician and me
What is this feeling
Dance through life
I am not that girl
A short day
A sentimental man
I’m not that girl (Reprise)
As long as you are mine
No good deed
