And if that wasn’t surreal enough, he ended up landing another role in a soon-to-be-aired television series on Amazon, which he ended up filming in the same weeks he was filming “City on a Hill”. He is not yet authorized to name the series, although he says he is proud of his work on it.
And, yes, he even found himself a little star struck when he spotted Kevin Bacon heading his way one day.
“We met in the restaurant business one day, and he’s really cool, the most humble guy,” White said. “I was talking to one of the other actors, I looked up to see the star and I asked my friend, ‘Is it really Kevin Bacon walking towards us right now?’ “
White said Bacon had walked in the end, reached out to him and introduced himself, saying, “Hey, I’m Kevin.”
“In my head I think to myself that of course I know who you are,” White said. “But on the outside, I tried to play cool. He was really as nice as he could get.
White, who said he could find a day job to support himself if other acting roles didn’t come quickly, said he was grateful for the chance to work on the shows of television.
“It let me know that I could defend myself against other actors and that I was established in New York,” he said. “And now I have tapes and roles that I can list when I’m [seeking] my neighbors.
